If a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because their is no light in him

As I continue studying the New testament each verse and principle I study all seem to coincide whether it be about my main project with humility or another, the spirit teaches what I need to learn in that week through these scriptures.

My reading this week has lead me to Mark 10. In verse 27 it reads  "...with men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." We have learned throughout our lives that life is incredibly difficult. We knew this before we came that it would be but we also knew we would have a God, a Heavenly Father, to be their by our side. But because of our forgetfulness and the veil we must relearn what that means.

We lack understanding and with out the proper guidance we lean to our own understanding, as I have mentioned before in a previous post. With men, by ourselves it (being life and all its challenges) is impossible. Think for a moment; would a person drive at night with no lights? He may try but where would that get him. He would be stuck, frustrated as to why he isn't moving forward. Maybe he knows what it's like to have those car lights or even street lights and can't seem to figure out why he can move forward. Another may not realize that their lights aren't on and may be at a complete standstill or worse moving forward that could cause them harm. We must trust the lights to get us through.

Now this metaphor or parable, what ever you would like to call it isn't perfect, but what I'm trying to say here is that the task of driving at night with no way to see is and may even more so feel impossible. The light however is Christ, is God, is the Holy Ghost. With God all things are possible. We are cannot progress the amount that we must, with out our God. Our belief in Him, Faith in him, Trust in Him, will allow blessings to rain from heaven, revelation and wisdom given to us and our faith and trust in Him will increase.

This cannot go with out saying that we must still endure what we were meant to endure. This verse doesn't mean that bad things will never happen. God can stop anything but if he were to interrupt our experience or learning, if he were to disrupt our agency, we would not grow, our faith would falter and our trust in him would be found thin.

Christ is constantly asking us to trust him even if we may not be able to see where we are going. He requires of us leaps of faith. Sometimes those leaps are big, others just inches in front of us. Christ Does just that for a blind man. The blind man calls out for his lord but those around him ask him to hold his peace, but he cries out again, this awkwardness for the man and possibly those around him. There might even be embarrassment to call out but he has faith how little to him it may seem. Christ stands still for the man, a rock if you will, and calls him forward. The man comes. He is blind and he comes! He knows that with God all things are possible and he stands still not really sure where to go but having faith and humility he comes by the voice of the Lord. He asks Jesus to heal him, that he may see again. "Go thy way;thy faith had made the whole." We must of course be like the blind man, come even though we cannot see, to trust our savior who will heal us, but we must remember. Remember that Christ knew that he couldn't see and asked him to trust in Him. That is what we must do.

John 11:9-10 "If a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him." Where is our light and how do we follow it? The light is the light of Christ. Every answer to becoming closer to our God and Savior and to follow them is our lovely Sunday school answers. Read, pray, ponder, serve. These yes are all important but they work. They work because they are of God. His will leads us to blessings and knowledge. Keeps light on the road as we drive.

There are so many forms of darkness, worldly darkness or physical darkness. Either way we must trust in Jesus Christ and God that our light or faith in the light will guide us when we are lost or afraid, uncertain or in desperate need of revelation.
